Meeting with H.E. Mr. Mahamat Abakar Assouyouti, Minister of Economy, Planning and International Cooperation of Chad.
 
Mr. Assouyouti received the OSS delegation, along with Mrs. Mariam DJAMOUS, Chairperson of the Union of Women for the Fight against Desertification in the Sahel (UFLCDS), as well as the Adaptation Fund National Designated Authority. Discussions focused on the project document development progress and the deadlines for its submission. The Minister called upon the teams involved in this process to take the necessary measures to finalize the document and have it submitted to the next Adaptation Fund Executive Board. The Minister took note of the results achieved within the framework of this mission, in particular the organization of a national consultative workshop and the working meetings held with the different ministerial departments working on the project.
