UNCCD COP15 : The OSS takes part in the Adaptation Fund side-event on accessing SLM funding, May 17, 2022, RIO Pavilion-MET 15

The OSS, was represented by its Executive Secretary, Mr. Nabil Ben Khatra, to contribute, as a panelist, to the side-event, organized by the Adaptation Fund that focused on ‘Enhancing Access to Finance for Sustainable Land Management through the Adaptation Fund to tackle climate change induced land degradation'.
The message of the OSS, an organization accredited as a Regional Implementing Entity with the Adaptation Fund (AF) since 2013, focused mainly on the ongoing projects in the IGAD region, in particular DRESSEA and EURECCCA
Besides, this event aimed at highlighting integrated approaches to improve access to Climate Finance. It also gave the possibility to share lessons learned from AF projects on climate change adaptation, and gave rise to discussions on new funding opportunities to ensure the replicability of the projects and to support the development and dissemination of innovative practices, technologies and tools.
