The Sahara and Sahel Observatory continues its efforts and tries to adapt to the exceptional COVID 19 pandemic situation, by organizing remote workshops on April 20 - 22, 2020

While observing the safety instructions, the OSS, unable to organize face-to-face workshops due to the pandemic, organizes two remote workshops:

  • The project-launch regional workshop that aims to integrate climate change adaptation measures into the coordinated management of the WAP - ADAPT-WAP trans-boundary complex will take place on April 21, 2020, at 9:00 UTC / 10:00 Tunis time.
  • The virtual training workshop on operational modeling of wheat growth and its yiled estimate, in synergy with the AfriCultuReS and GMES & Africa projects, and co-organized with the CNCT - ONAGRI and INRGREF, will take place over 3 days , from April 20 to 22, 2020, starting from 9 a.m.

To this end, the OSS has developed a guidebook for participants, which briefly presents the information relating to the use of the platform (BlueJeans) and provides explanations on the key elements for the smooth running of the meetings.
