The UN affiliated CRASTE-LF is organizing a second training session on Earth Observation for a sustainable land & water management in North Africa in collaboration with the OSS-North Africa Consortium & the GMES & Africa partners.
This training of trainers, which comes after the 1st session on Earth Observation for seasonal agricultural monitoring (October 13-16, 2020), will be provided by very high level experts from CESBIO, ELEAF, IHE DELFT & IRD.
Members of other GMES consortia will be given six (6) seats. Interested persons will have to send their CV to the OSS-North Africa Consortium at the following address: email@example.com by copying firstname.lastname@example.org, before November 18, 2020.
As a regional training centre, CRASTE-LF will have the trainees certified for taking part in the workshop. A digital certificate will be provided by email at the end of the training.
The workshop program will be delivered in English. The teletraining will take place via the Zoom videoconference platform. A workshop kit, including a set of documents & working tools, will be given to participants before the workshop start. The training sessions will be broadcast live on social networks, their video recordings, as well as the educational material used during the workshop will be put online for free after the training.
